Purpose: economic development through a racial equality lens
Vision: To restore North County to a safe, vibrant, sustainable, and economically sound community that remains diverse, and in doing so, help heal the racial strife and division that threatens to ruin North County altogether.
The idea of A Red Circle began when our founder, Erica Williams, was researching St. Louis’ real estate history and discovered that the current racial tension in St. Louis is the result of past racist laws and public policies. She decided that a substantial investment into North County was necessary to provide equitable relief to the region.
The name A Red Circle is based off the principles: 1) Red, because all blood is red, and 2) a circle because we are all connected by humanity.
A Red Circle is a tax-exempt organization with 501(c)(3) status, a proud member of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce and the Heartland Midwest Black Chamber of Commerce.
A Red Circle serves the following zip codes within St. Louis County: 63120, 63121, 63133, 63134, 63135, 63136, 63137, 63138. 63031, 63033, 63034, and 63042.
